About us!

At Tetsumen, we offer you an authentic Japanese cuisine, with the heart of "Omotenashi", or sincere hospitality. Ever since our opening on 4/20/2018, we continue to provide a cozy space in Manono Marketplace in Hilo for over 6 years.
Other than our signature Ramen with Tonkotsu (pork bone)-based soup, we offer variety of Japanese dishes such as Japanese style curry rice, gyoza, katsudon, and so on.
Our Story
On 4/20/2018, Tetsumen started as a first USA store of Japanese ramen chain restaurant. Since then, we continue to provide an authentic Japanese dishes to Hilo community for over 6 years.
Fun Fact: Tetsumen literally means 'philosophy of noodles'!

Tetsumen is run by Foodman Hawaii Corp. which runs Imo Miya brand (Japanese baked sweet potato) and Hana Tako brand (Musubi etc.)
